Battle with the big boss: Ooki Mushi and the Knight in the Darkness

After the magical Toycon lights had gone, I was transported to the cold and stormy campus of Black Out. Except for the jeepney lights, all one can see were the evil yellow eyes in the dark. I mustered my courage to trudge on the 89 steps towards our dormitory room, amidst the harsh cold wind, the rain, the thunder and lighting and the semi-pitch black darkness.

There I was resting on my bed chambers when suddenly, it attacked: the Mushi Emperor. Weighing as heavy as a half-full Yakult, brown, and having 6 inches total body length (with antennae), the Mushi emperor flew back and forth the room; attacking every wall and locker that it can with mighty tantrums and and panic. I did not know what disturbed it. It stayed well-behaved like a high born lady inside our room for almost a week. I was the one who caught the Mushi King and now it is attacking it’s captor.

So much for the love of insects! I have paid the price. What’s more frightening than a giant insect attacking in the dead of a stormy night, and I, with no weapon whatsoever, wished for a sword of light even with the knowledge that I had none (I had no batteries for my flashlight). It was like a dragon machine bursting north, and south and forth with its angry sounds, as if demanding justice for its untimely imprisonment just because of the curiosity of a girl who loved insects. Gaaaaasp! How shall I be saved from this torture?

For what feels like an eternity, or just a few minutes, I guess, I ran and screamed to and fro, as the Mushi Emperor attacked. I hoped for a knight to save me but such wishful thinking is stupid. Who will be there in the campus during the night of Black Out to save a girl from the king of mushi? And thus I had to ignite the fire of courage myself else I die a lonely death. With a broom on one hand and an umbrella on the other, I charged towards the gargantuan insect and (still screaming) risked my very life’s blood. YAAAAAH!

Of course I was not able to strike my target. The night was pitch black. I can’t even see my own hands. But the mushi king, admitting its demise and tiredness, landed on my shield, errr.. umbrella, and I had yet to claim victory. Triumphant and (still nervous) I threw my umbrella outside the room and then, peace.

Praise to the heavens, I have defeated the mushi king.
